I have been intermittently loosing coolant, particularly when the AC is running. Since it has become cooler i have not been using it as much and the coolant loss has become minimal. However yesterday i was driving it to work and after about 20 minutes or so the temperature gauge climbs in a matter of a few seconds from normal to nearly H and the coolant light begins flashing.
The coolant was fine and the temp gauge quickly returned to normal.
After that the gauge would go up a tad but then return to its normal position.
The thermostat was replaced this year the timing belt/water pump was done at 165k. Any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance for the help!!
