Default DIY Starter motor replacement

Whats up guys i hope everyone is having as much fun w/ Audi as i am.
So my car is making a weird grinding cranking noise when i turn my key. A mechanic told me its my starter going bad and i should replace it before i
get stranded. ive been looking for a DIY on replacing a starter on
a 2004 Audi A4 1.8T but i haven't found one.

I also want to ask if i should go the cheap route and buy a refurbished starter
from Discount Auto Parts Online -- PartsGeek.com - Domestic & Import Auto Parts Warehouse $97 or buy the legit one from ECS tuning for $400?

please say partsgeek is the way to go.

partsgeek starters are fine no need to spend 400 on a starter

I can get you an OE Bosch (PN# 06B 911 023X) reman for $215 + $59 core

I work at a Federated Auto Parts, and any store should be able to do the same
