Default Need advise about tires plz

Ok so my stock rim is 235/45R17 and I found falken tires for $100 each including mount and balance. These are so cheap so I'm skeptical is falken ok?I'm not looking for super performanr or anything if these are cool I'm down

ive had a couple of sets of falken ziex 512s on one of my rx7s. on that car they are good, but they wear out quickly, and it weighs about half as much as an a4. i wouldnt use them on my audi. i just put michelin pilot sport a/s plus on the a4, theyre great, but you may not want to pay that much.

I'm running 235/35/19 and 235-45/19 (F/R) Falken 452's and love them. Quiet at cruising and they're great in the rain!

^Wait a second. You are running a tire/wheel combo in the rear that is roughly 2" larger in diameter in than your front tire/wheel combo?? Please say that it's not a Quattro, It's a fwd right? If you have quattro that's a really bad idea. With that setup when your speedo is reading 65mph, your front wheel is spinning at 65mph but your rear wheels are spinning at 60mph and that = Not good for your drivetrain. With or without Quattro mis-matching overall tire/wheel diameters at the least confuses the ESP system(which monitors the wheel speed of all four wheels whether you press the button to activate it or not).

Sunnyshaida, Falkens are an okay option. If you need tires and don't have the flow for better ones, buy 'em. Falken are one of the least expensive sport/performance tire manufacturers and as long as you don't expect too much from them you shouldn't be disappointed. Have you checked out how great of a deal that really is though? I wouldn't expect them to be regularly priced over $100-$115 and one-time mount and balance is almost always negotiable. If your kind of on the fence and if it wouldn't hurt you to wait until you could spend another $100-$200, I'd get better tires with higher mileage potential. I wouldn't expect more if even as much as 30,000 mi from the Falkens. You can get 60,000 mile tires for no more than another $150-$200 more than what your looking at spending now. Double the mileage for much less than double the price? Makes sense to me.
