i have a 03 1.8t and i need to know the best size intercooler to get with out cutting the hell out of my bumper????

 

Best suggestionI can make is to pick up an Apikol SMIC they are a little under $600 and its a direct bolt on w/little modification. Check out their website they have somedescent dyno runs with a stage 3 b6.

i have a racetec, i didnt measure its dimensions though but it bolted right up and didnt require any cutting or trimming or the bumper or even moving the smog pump

i wouldnt do an ebay deal, the piping is a real bitch on the 1.8t.. the drivers side will need a boost sensor fitting welded into it and the passenger side has some crazy turns and has to have a DV outlet too
