Need help with P0302
Was stopped at a foot hill when car started shaking on idle. I turned around and came home with no problem but could feel that it sounds funny.
I pulled up the error coded and seeing just one error code P0302.
Where should i start ?it can be anything from spark plug to ignition coil etc. etc.
Thanks,
Gunjan

Thanks ilackav8. Coil recall was completed couple of years back at the local Audi dealer.
For first few seconds the CEL flashed and car started shaking and then after that CEL became steady and car also became stable enough to turn around and come back to my place. Was only .5 mile away though.
One of my car savvy friend recommended to perform following in that order , please let me know if you think otherwise.
1) Reset the code then swap spark plug#2 and #3 and see if error goes to P0303. If not switch them back
2) Reset the code if needed then swap ignition coil plug#2 and #3 and see if error goes to P0303. If not switch them back
3) Reset the code if needed then swap fuel injector#2 and #3 and see if error goes to P0303. Afer that not sure, go to dealer
?
Thanks again.

swapping the coils is a great and easy way to start tracking the problem.
if the misfire doesn't move, try checking your plugs to see if they're maybe a bit worn or fouled up.
and if all else fails, try the injector swap. IMO the coil swap and plug check is a little easier, so check it out.
good luck and keep us posted
