I swear, if Audi gave the 3.0 people the non peely buttons /sarcasm

haha

The way I look at it, the 1.8T is always better. Chipped you get more power than the 3.0, plus you actually have options. Though with an exhaust the 3.0 sounds better IMO.

Then again I am still a rookie when it comes to working on cars and understanding the nitty gritty details, so I would take AudiTech's word over mine, to be truly honest.
Some things you won't notice, like the chrome trim around the windows on the 3.0L, the 1.8T just has a black trim. The 3.0L has real leather instead of fake leather. (pleather)
Heated seats, wood trim, full electrical seats, on star on some models, xenon stock, stiffer suspension, larger fuel tank, 6 cd changer on almost all 3.0L's, Bose sound stock and im sure im missing something. 1.8T's come with these options, but they are options instead of being factory, you can't order a 1.8T with real leather though.

Audie's Audi - looks like we have the same car!

I took a sound clip on the exhaust, I'll upload to viddler in a few.

Hey, what is up with the buttons in the car? The black is peeling. I've never seen that before. I know I have an '02, but I'm surprised that is happening. Maybe the Sacramento sun got to it? Anyone have an answer for "refinishing" some of the buttons / center console pieces?

Welcome to peely button world. Standard on ALL A4 models =P

VERY common problem, to the point that you can buy the individual buttons on a lot of parts sites, and when people scrap a wrecked car, it's probably the most in demand part...

yeah Quad, I've noticed that, hence why I'm making sure you keep me updated on the mods.
haven't yet run into the peely buttons, but im sure I will since you have an '02 and it's been in the sun longer than my '05
since it's common, I'm sure I'll run into it in a few years

What sites can you buy the buttons?

my car does have 3.5" tips - double walled tips, so they look a bit larger too

pa4ul,

Where did you get your tail lights? they look like the ones I'm looking at getting for mine.
They look good. Nice to actually see them on an Audi and not just in a picture.
