Night From Hell!
Just thought I'd share this with you guys....
So last night I was taking my fiance's little sister to volleyball practice. I dropped her off at the YMCA and was gonna go grab a bite to eat and have a couple drinks to kill some time (that was the plan, anyway.) As I was leaving the Y, I got all of 1.5 blocks away when I hit a MASSIVE pothole and bent the crap outta my wheel. It won't hold air at the moment. So I stopped, put my spare on (of course it was low on air so I had to go fill it up.) Then aftter I picked up the lil sis, we were on our way home when my night got really bad. I was at a light, it turned green so I went. Then all of a sudden, I loose all power, my CEL starts flashing and the car is running like ****. I stopped and searched around but couldn't find anything out of place. Had to call AAA to get home!
So you guys have any ideas for me to check when I get home? I plan on checking all my turbo/intercooler piping to make sure that isn't the issue. Is there anything else I could check?
p.s. I will post some pics of the pothole and my rim when I get home later today.

That's a good possiblility....I've been so frustrated with my car the last few weeks, my mind is fried. I didn't even think about the coilpacks. Is there a way to test them besides checking the code, finding the misfire, then moving that coilpack and see if the misfire follows? or would that be the best way to do that?
You can try swapping them around to pinpoint which one is misfiring, you should probably buy a couple coils and keep them in the trunk, they are easy to change, especially in a situation you were in last night. I took that advice from reading this forum, I have yet to need to change mine, but it gives me a little piece of mind in the case that it does happen.
I'm definetly going to be getting the wheel fixed. I know a local shop not far from me that does great work with wheels.
I will have the pics up as soon as I get home tonight. I didn't have my digital with me so I had to buy a disposable camera and have them developed. I will scan them as soon as I get home from work.
