Purchased my first Audi to use as a commuter. Its a 03 A4 1.8T front wheel drive only. Everything seems fine except the initial take off, off the line. At highway speed however no issues with passing power. Is it normal for these cars when stock to be sluggish off the line for about 2 seconds then its seems to go? Is it due to the CVT or is it an engine issue?

This is known as turbo lag and is normal.
