While driving home i got the oil light come up so i stop to check and i see that is low on oil so i added some more. drove the car around today but the light wont go way. I guess the only way to find out is to take the car to a shop and scan it. If anyone could help me with this.

im wondering if maybe ur sensor is bad? No signs of sludge right?

 

No nothing like that, its only been 2k since i change it the oil. i drove it around today just to see but there is no smoke no leak. I wish i had vagcom to scan it, im ordering the sensor tomorrow and will see.

 

yea it might be the sensor

 

Sensors are commom failed.... especially if you top it off and it doesn't go away.
