yea that is alot of oil to be losing. I have a small leak in my return line and i still dont have to add oil. ITs actually still above the halfway mark. Seems you have a fairly large leak someone in your engine.

 

Yea I agree I would have to say my car is using or losing a lot of oil, the amount of oil my car goes through varies. I actually have driven about 5k and haven't had to add oil and other times I drive 1k and have to add a quart. I have found oil down in my spark plug ports, and if I start my car and let it idle for 5 or so min and rev it up I send a nice lil blue cloud of smoke. I'm also having cooling issues so I'm not to happy about my car right now.

 

eeeee might have a leak in one of your gaskets. You should get those fixed asap.
