2004 A4 1.8t. I was driving home from work yesterday and my engine began shuttering. Stopped at autozone and used their hardware to diagnose the potential problem, the handheld read misfire in coil 1-3. Got home and researched how to change the plugs and coils, ordered some new plugs and coils, which were delivered today. When I pulled the coils on 1-3 I noticed oil on some of the plugs and in the coil chamber.

Im a mechanical noob, but Im willing to learn and follow directions, advice from an experienced member would be very helpful and appreciated. A brief internet search indicated there might be a valve cover gasket leak. Please take a look at the pics.

Please let me know what the next logical step would be to identify and fix this problem. Based on your experience do the valve covers typically go out all at the same time or should I turn my focus somewhere else initially.
