Exclamation Okay Idk what's going on with ... ESC

Bought the car back in 2010 , steering has always been on the stiff side , so i got use to it and like it like that .
But now ever since the cold whether has hit all of a sudden my dash will tell me I've lost traction and my steering gets super lose .
I usually play with the ESC button for awhile or have to cut the car off in order for it to act right again .
I just freaks me out because i'll be doing my thing going the spped limit and everything and out of no where my steering starts to feel different . IDK WHAT TO DO ?

You dash tells you you've lost traction...? It speaks to you? Crazy.

Need to know exactly what light comes on and exactly what it says in the DID display.

I would say you need to have it scanned with a VAG-COM or dealer scanner. Sounds like a steering rack, servotronic issue. But its hard to be sure without a proper scan

normally that light just flashes a bit then turns off. Might be a sensor issue but like AUDI TEK stated either get a pic of the light or vag scan it and get back to us.

thanks man! As for that light it is probably a sensor. NOw which one is a different story. It might be the speed sensor or the break sensor on the pedal. But Take the car to autozone and have them scan it. That is the only way we can narrow it down.
