Default only pulling 6 - 8 inches of vacuum

for some reason my car is only pulling between 6 - 8 inches of vacuum

i get a fluttering sound when i rev the car at idle

when i drive it, car runs fine boots stays up around 9psi and doesnt drop

not sure if i got a leak or a bad DV

any ideas on what to check other than all my lines
i am pretty new to these cars but seasoned as far as boosted applications go

thanks

my car is stock
car does not misfire

runs really good actually, just pulls very little vacuum, it used to pull about 22 inches of vacuum

the fluttering sounds like the dv but would that cause my vacuum reading to be low depending on where the gauge is tapped into the system at?

i have yet to hook the vag-com up to it and see but with the fluttering something is definetly not right

Boost is measured in pounds and vacuum is measured in inches. Normal vacuum is around 20 inches.
