Can anyone help a confused a6 avant s line le man's owner . I was putting some air in my tyres at the garage today and I suddenly realized that all 4 windows had opened about 2 inches . The car wasn't switched on . I had been using the cars blue tooth phone system , just before getting out to do the wheels. It's totally confused me. It's as though i hit a button that drops all 4 Windows without realizing it . I turned the ignition on and closed all 4 and they've stayed closed since. Can anyone help please.

 

I've discovered what this is, I just thought I'd put the solution on here in case anybody else was confused by this rather odd feature . It's called convenience Windows , which is activated if you hold the, open door symbol on the key fob for about 2 seconds. You can turn this feature off, via mmi. Push car button , Windows, convenience Windows and switch off.
