On my 03 3.0 Quattro AVK there is a short factory formed hose at the input side of the power steering pump. Mine was cracked and sprayed a fine mist of fluid around the engine compartment. I just went through and replaced all of the factory clamps with new clamps due to leaks, of course a weak link shows up. It broke apart when I removed it.

The part # is 8E0 422 887 D. It is about 30 bucks, has anyone had this issue? I considered using a short piece of straight hose, it looks like it might work but might crimp and cut off flow during operation. Anyone been here?

Ehhh. I looked at it again and will probably just go to the dealer. Right now this car is partial to jack stands and my bank account. If someone has done this with no issues, let me know.
