Hi Folks,
My check engine light has come on and it gives a:
PO492:P0492 16876 Secondary Air Injection System Insufficient Flow Bank 2
I know this is probably a combi-valve (EGR) or vacuum hose issue

My question is which one is bank 2?

It a 03 A4 CAB 3.0

 

You are correct, but I don't know where the pump is located. Try checking the part number for the pump with your dealer or just go and pick their brains see if they know where it's at. Or someone else like MidniteOyl will come by and tell you...

 

Not sure which bank is bank 2. The pump is located right behind the passenger side fog light though. I agree the odds are good the pump is fine and you have a vacuum problem. Start hunting around and replace anything questionable.
