passat 6sp auto

Has anybody tried to replace their cvt with a passat 6sp auto? Just curious if it can be made to work with the audi electronics in a cvt car.

just by trying to replace a transmission would probably require a lot of work, space can be a big issue. it's nearly impossible from what i heard.

The tranny would just be a straight bolt in, once you have the flywheel and converter in place. The electronics are going to be the problem, most people fear the electronics so they won't even try it.
