Hi:

I am in the middle of a rebuild and have some piston questions:

1. any difference between CP, JE, and Mahle?? There is a bit of a spread in price.

2. This is for a stock a4 2003 (engine AMB). I may go to a K04 turbo and will likely do some sort of tune. However, I am not going for big power gains. I do want something to last a while though. Thoughts on Compression ratio?? 9.5:1, 9.0:1, or 8.5:1.

3. Thoughts on Bore. I have to bore a bit so my thinking was to go to 82.5 since it will provide a bit more displacement which should help the low rpm end which is where the torque is weak. Any issues with going this large??
