Default Please help!!!

Hey guys,

So Im looking for some advice here. I recently blew the engine on my 2003 A4 Quattro due to low oild pressure, which ive researched and found is a common problem with the A4's. I got it towed my local Audi dealership for them to inspect. Their service manager asked me to send him in my maintenance records etc and he will send them to an inspector to review and see if they could help me out with either a new engine or repair. I sent him in my 2 oil change receipts that I had. He calls me today and tells me there is nothing they can do. Heres the problem. I took the car in on December 3rd!! He jus calls me today and lets me know there is nothing they can do! I found an engine online 2gs for 1.8T with 35kms on it. So I call the tech back and ask him if theres anything they can do for the installation of the vehicle. He tells me he can install it for $1,600. Is there anything I can do from this point? Is there a complaint department I can contact to bring this up? Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!!

Specs

2003 Audi A4 Quattro
Purchased with 82,000 kms, Engine blew with 88,000 kms.

I had an oild change when I bought it, and one about 2 months before it blew.

Dunno about the legality, but losing your engine so soon after purchase seems like an extreme circumstance. you may be able to get some help from a local or national consumer advicates group. In the US we have the BBB, not sure about Canada. I'm assuming canada because you're using kilometers, not miles.

If not, you're basicaly stuck with a worthless car or a $4000 repair bill.

You're screwed. Oil changes weren't done on time or synthetic wasn't used. Maybe the dealer will help...
