Default please help

I have an 02 a4 and i jave had some trouble with the idle as well as overall performance while driving. The car seems like it bogs down at about 4 thousand rpms and then again while it idles too. I have replaced the valve cover gasket, fuel pump, fuel filter, had the exhaust redone and still the same bogged down car. Any ideas before i take it to a mechanic that will rape the money out of my pockets? Thanks for any help!

Is the check engine light on? If so what are the fault codes?

I have a similar problem..when I go to give it it gas it just falls on its face..no power... I had a misfire code so I replaced the fuel pump dv and all four plugs and coils... Still having same issues... I don't know about your car but I'm no longer reading any codes or check engine light but it's still running Terrible...hopefully we can possibly figure it out together

Do a search for Throttle Body Alignment and try it out. If its out of whack it'll cause all kinds of issues with driveability.
