possible N75 fault
Hi there this is my message here so please go easy.
I have a bog standard 2002 1.9 TDI 130 Avant sport which has had a few problems but nothing I couldn't deal with before.
This latest head scratch points to the N75 valve but is intermittent, only when a damp day and the car is parked overnight facing into the weather.
Essentially no boost until 2000rpm then ok to 3000 then loses it again. I am just about to try replacing the vacuum hoses as they look a touch frayed here and there and are possibly collapsing under vacuum. This won't fix the fault though! I just wanted some advice with the electrical connectors, how do they come apart? Not wishing to get heavy handed and break it, even if I bought a new solenoid I couldn't fit it cos I can't pull the wiring.
Simple query maybe but I would rather do it right than break it. Thanks for any help.
