Hi - I was going to buy this Audi but want your opinions and concerns.

It is a 2003 A4 Quattro 3.0 6 speed manual. 99K miles $8000 I was thinking of giving him

I got the carfax and it has 4 owners. It shows a lot of the service records and I was calling a couple of the service shops to see if the timing belt was changed and stubled uppon the last dealer who said that they Replaced The Engine and the Clutch.

He didn't have info as to if it was a new engine or reman or used but he did say the bill was $9,000 dollars.

Would you trust this? I don't want to get it and have to put 1500 into it right away. The current owner that has only had it for 3 months and put 3500 miles on it said he did the Spark Plugs , Coil packs, & new battery.

What do you all think?

 

I just found out the dealer called me that the engine was a Salvage engine replaced by insurance.

He said he had no info on how many miles was on the engine so I wonder.
