quattro vs non quattro
forgive me if this has been asked already - i did a search but could not find it.
i am going to buy an A4 Avant Sportline Quattro 2004 1.8t model. i have been hunting round everywhere to find out whether i can fit some 9" x 19" ET41 bentley wheels on the car and also lower it 20mm without having to resort to tyres as drastic as 215/30/19 etc
there are a couple of avants that i have seen with the bentleys on them but they are not quattro and i am concerned that the quattro suspension set up is different to the front wheel drive set up and that there maybe issues clearing the rear suspension with big wide wheels.
can anyone advise what problems i am likely to face. if the bentleys are just too wide please advise the best width and ET offset to go for on the avant quattro.
also is there a gallery on the forum which has some big wheeled avants on there so i can get some inspiration.
i look forward to hearing from you
thanks
Lee

Check az. They have an avant section that is very active. And I think a wheel gallery persay(thread). As for your ?'s. You might need spacers and to roll your fenders. I know people use amg/Lamborghini/Benz. All kinds of wheels. Main thing to keep in mind is lug pattern/offset.
