Default Question about stage 1+ for 2002 A4

Hello eveyone,
I've done some reading and a lot of people have posted that they get a Lean code after going to APR stage 1+. It was mainly with the 2002 year. So I was wondering if this actually is happening a lot? Or is it that just because only the people that are having problems are posting.. I have an 02 a4 1.8TQ Auto and was considering getting the ecu upgrade but am now debating it because of the problems I've been reading about.

Another question: When I have my car in P the headlights 'shake'. Usually once I put it in D it stops or if I have my foot on the gas it also stops the sort of flickering. Any ideas? My whole headlight housing isn't shaking..it's just the actual light that seems to shake. Thanks in advance.

I would recommend the APR injector upgrade, and that shoudl remedy your problem. Ive got the stage 1 on mine, and its been absolutely flawless. Im definitely doing the stage 1+ this summer, but youll want to upgrade your DV, boost hoses more than likely, and like I said injectors to help with A/F. Good louck with the parking dilemna...maybe just put it in Neutral and run the Ebrake.

Thanks for the info! I guess I will pay extra attention in checking for boost leaks. I will definitely be getting stage 1+ when I can.
