Default Question for you Guys

Hey, guys, I'm new here! I posted this on another forum, but I just wanted get some more opinions.

I allowed my friend to test drive my A4. He's a great driver, but because he's used to manual cars, he put my vehicle into park before it had fully stopped moving, causing a jolt and grindy noise.
Now, I notice that when I turn the car on, go into reverse to back out of my driveway, then put it into drive, and after starting to accelerate a bit, I hear a very quiet metal grindy sound coming from behind the footwell area, and sometimes I feel a slight vibration on the gas pedal when this happens. It only lasts a second or so, and I believe it happens here and there while driving, but only when the car is cold! Anybody know exactly what has happened here? I'm so upset!

I also recently found this:

Guy is explaining the exact same thing that I'm experiencing!

You may have effed up the differential. All wheel drive vehicles don't like it when you e-brake stop.

and isn't di.fm an music site? lol.

^ No idea, haha.

I have a symptoms update:

I've noticed that whenever I turn the car on and acelerate forward for the first time, that's when the grindy noise happens. Sometimes you can feel a slight vibration in the pedal when this happens, and it's VERY short, not very loud.
After that, when the car is still cold, when the gear switches from 1st to 2nd (auto trans), there's a vibration and slight noise for about 1 second. Doesn't happen with any other gears, and does not happen when car is warm. There's no noticeable loss in performance or anything. This is quite strange to me. Any help would be appreciated!
