quick question about spark plugs
hey all-
just wanted to get some input on spark plugs.last summer i was in a pinch and needed some new plugs asap, and autozone didnt have any NGKs in stock, so i bought autolite platinum. they've been fine and never a single issue with them.
heres the question...will these not hold up as well as the oem ngks? i've heard the argument that platinum plugs are platinum plugs and none are better than the other, and if the autolites have been good so far, is it worth replacing them?thanks for the input

I went with the NGK's when I changed the coil packs. Been running very smoothly. You will get a lot more support for the NGK's over the Autolite's. NGK has the best reliability while Autolite has a tendency to have noticeably sluggish performance on other vehicles.

well as far as i understood from working in the auto parts industry the spark plug companies specialize in vehicles either by make or region i learned that champions are best for chevys and gms while autolites are best in fords, and ngk along with bosch are best for imports.
