Radio sounds great, CDs sound like crap
Hi,
I'm new to this forum but was sure to search on this topic first. I have the Bose Symphony system and think the radio sounds great, but it sounds distorted when I play CDs, no matter how much I tweak the bass, treble, mids, etc. Any one else experience this and find a remedy? I love how the factory head unit looks and don't want to scrap it, but if I have to I will. I've read how different wiring harnesses don't work, so scrapping the head unit probably means scrapping the whole system and starting from scratch. I can do it, but what a pain in the *****
I just want my CDs to sound good. What have you come up with? (and thanks for your advice!)

Hi Dan,
If that was the case, the radio would sound like crap, too. I can't imagine it being anything but the head unit. I've never come across this problem in any other car. CDs just sound slightly "muddled".
