Rear Differential

Lightbulb Rear Differential

Do the audi a4 quattros have a rear differential?

every car that has a drive axle front or rear or both has some sort of differential in that axle.

The rear differential has to be serviced how often?

it doesnt need to be serviced... usually seals go bad, they need to be replaced.

If its been more than 90-100k miles or 8 years, drain and fill all diffs.

How much would it cost to have this done?

Here you go... http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=189117 It's very easy to do it yourself. I did mine not too long ago. I used Mobil 1 75w90 diff oil. Only cost me few dollars and maybe 15 minutes to do it.
