Hello knowedgeable people,

I have inherited an '03 A4 Quattro Avant 1.9 Diesel from my father. Earlier this year the rear wiper motor caught fire, thankfully just fried the plastic terminal and a bit of the wiper and the car is relatively unscathed.

I have replaced the motor, the wires from the motor and the blade. Can anyone please do me a massive, massive favour?

Where the wiring block connects into the wiper motor there are four wires coming out. Due to the fire (and Dads attempts at limiting the damage) I now have no idea which colour wire goes into which port.

I have a purple wire, a blue wire, a black and yellow wire and an orange wire. The little box with four ports in is horizontal, can you please let me know which way the wires enter the box from left to right?

Audi have told me they cannot give me this information without paying for a service (I am enjoying the DIY!), please help??
