Default Replaced license plate bulbs with white ones on my b6 now they dont work!

Hello, I always hated those yellowish bulbs of the license plate. My B6 is an 02. I had some spare blue coated bulbs from another car, same dimensions and I replaced the factory ones with these ones but they just don't work... so I removed them and placed the factory ones, and they don't work either! I still get the error on the lcd.... any suggestions? thanks!

Check you owner's manual for your fuse location. Double check on those clips, our cars are really bad on making connections for the bulbs.
