Default Replacing low beam HID headlight bulb

I am a relatively new owner of my 2003 Audi A4 B6. My car came with an HID kit installed by previous owner. Last week i had my drivers side low beam burn out and of course the following night I was pulled over and issued a citation. Anyways I have read that the part number calls for a D1S bulb. The sight I'm looking to order my new bulb from only offers a D2S. Is this a major problem or will the D2S replacement bulb still work??

Probably seems like a stupid question but I lack the knowledge and could really use the help.

Please and thank you.

first off did your car come equipped with stock hids or is the kit a aftermarket. cuz if its aftermarket you probably dont have ds1 bulbs but h7 bulbs. Easiest way to tell is to if the car autoaims the lights when you fire them up.
