Hey need a little help.

I have a a4 b6 cab 3.0, I luv the small growl it gives as you put the foot down but I like the S4 growl more, understanding it has an extra 1.2lt on top of mine.

I am after an Exhaust system that sounds similar, im not looking for the sound you here from your local fiesta 1.1 with the 4inch on the back.

Any help please. Ill be honest it’s the sound im after and not really any gains in power.

a "V8" engine will give you a nice s4 sound..........

You can make it louder, but sound like a 4.2L it will never be. Every engine has a signature sound, like mustangs with that hallow sound, or the subaru STI with that throaty sound.

 

The old Neuspeed exhaust gave a nice smooth sound, Thermal R&D gives a deep groul with some backfire at idle. The Magnaflow mufflers give a good sound improvement over stock.

 

Hi thanks dan , yes im after a deep groul, the standed exhaust has a muffled groul now but would like a bit more drama if you know what i mean

 

I have the Thermal and is subtle, doesn't really sound ricey at all for a V6 but is still not a V8.
