I've read the forum comments about checking for loose or missing rivets and replacing them to cure the loud scream. But, my pump, D6A 959 253B, doesn't have any rivets or bolts. what can we do on the modern SAI pump to quiet them down?

Also, why do these things come on when the temp is 80 degrees F outside?
