Default Selling Sprint Booster for Audi A4 3.0, 1.8 or 2.0

Hi folks,

I Have the 2010 # unit from sprint booster, which is also the same unit used for the A4 1.8T and 2.0T, but I'm using it in my 6-speed 3.0.

http://www.sprintboostersales.com/sp....cfm?make=Audi

Just plug and play, and you're off in about 1 minute after installing it. I am going with some other FI upgrades, so can't use this.

It was $330, but I'm selling for $200 shipped (paypal only) or local for cash only of $200.

send me an email at (all one word...) quadexhaust @ gmail . com

Best,

Eric

Does this fix the somewhat delayed acceleration on the a4?

yes, that is exactly what it is for - does the job well! I'm used to cars with over 500HP, so hence the reason I'm going Forced Induction, otherwise this 'chip" is terrific for what it does!

Could you/would you use this in conjunction with a chip?

This only increases throttle sensitivity, but the chip actually makes more fundamental changes to operation, correct?

Hi,

I've done basically 3 "upgrades" to the car as of right now:

chip - noticed the change, but wasn't like chipping a turbo car.
CAI - nice sound, but I don't think it did anything for acceleration
SBooster - most noticable of all three. It actually feels like it's a bigger engine - I've had S4's, etc., and I won't say it feels that powerful, but it has a great kick off the line like a turbo.

If you read some of my prior posts from a few months ago, you'll notice I had the SB, sold it, then bought it again the 2nd time, because the car just feels way too slow without it - if I weren't going forced induction, I would definitely want to keep it on the car.

So, to answer your question, if you compare the chip (which I have done) and the SB, the SBooster provides more "kick" than the chip - no doubt about it. Read some of my posts from a few months back and you'll see what I mean, and why I decided to buy it again after returning it to mini mania.

best,

Eric

Eric:

I get what you're saying. What I'm asking is: are the chip and the SB two incompatible products?

Could you run BOTH simultaneously on a car with a turbo? Why or why not?

yes, you can run this with a turbo'd car from the factory. With what I'm doing, which is aftermarket, the guys told me to sell it, but a stock turbo car can be chipped and run the SB. Where are you located? I have a great Audi/VW shop locally that does a ton of work on our cars (if you need a referral). The SB does not reconfigure the chip, change O2 sensor or gas consumption, which a chip "could" do - it does change the throttle sensitivity ("drive by wire" - if you want to call it that, althoug our cars don't have the 'wire' perse). If you live nearby, I can install it in your car and you'll see what I mean. Worst case, if you wanted to try it, we could work out an arrangement where I'd send it to you, you plug it in, and my guess is you'd prefer to keep it. At that point, I just wouldn't refund your "paypal"....

Best,

Eric
