Default sensor/electric or mechanical?

hi there,

I have a b6 1.8t, recently did downpipe, software, exhaust and dumpvalve. a month later it died while having it flat out on the highway, the mechanics fiddled with a few sensors and got it started but now it wont drive over 2000rpm, it backfires while cranking and also backfires and jerks when you try rev it, when the diagnostics machine is plugged in it read faults on 80% of the sensors. Ive had it at Audi, an auto elec, and two mechanics and no-one can tell me what it is!!!

Any ideas??

Shaun
