Default so i have no A/C now

well yesterday i went to autozone to pick up the idler pulley because i thought it was that making the grinding noise. i got home and took the tensioner assembly off and spun all the pulleys to find out that the tensioner/idler pulley was fine. the A/C clutch pulley would not spin without excessive force.

so i put everything back on to go back to autozone. i made it down my driveway and BAM!

there it went.

so i went back up put the charger on the battery and brought my jump pack so i could make it to autozone. i returned that idler pulley i got and used a 99 golf gti alternator belt(which is a 44inch belt if anyone wants to know) so that i could at least drive and this belt fits with the alternator and P/S pump.

Good news it, you have all winter to fix it before you really start to miss it.
