Default Stereo Help

I have a B6 A4 and am trying to put in an Alpine MRP M500 Amp and two Alpine Type E 10'' Subs. Where is the stock amp located at? and do i need a high low converter in order to be able to hook up the system if not could you explain how to go about installing them. Thanks.

Don't know exactly but is on the rear passenger side behind the back seat area, you have to take the back seat out to get to it.

That's a DIY for the fuel pump, it shows how to take the seat out. Your amp is on the back of the seat, toward the trunk area.

Is easier with the seat removed I believe, this guy did it with it in: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=305890

I explained to this guy the easiest way of installing subs in ur car. Taking out the rear panel in the trunk is fun. Remove the speaker grill in the rear deck is by far the easier route. Then run ur wires accordingly. There should be a hole in the firewall if u look underneath the steering wheel. It has a rubber cap on it. U willl need a loc.
