Angry Suspension?

Its zero weather and while riding I started to hear, what I now know, my front tires rubbing BAD on my front suspension. What I dont know, is my springs, shocks or ? How do I tell and I do it myself?

Is your car stock? different wheels? different suspension? if not, what package do you have?

I think my car ('04 1.8T) might be experiencing the same problem. I just put on new tires (the same as the original) and had to engine coils put in (apparently one froze and busted last week, according to the dealer). Now, my car vibrates quite noticably when idling or when driving in speeds greater than 60mph. Called the dealer, who informed me it was due to my car being "frozen." I live in upstate NY and its been insanely snowy and cold the last few weeks. I don't remember this happening last year during the cold monthy...but hopefully the dealer is right??

It doesn't sound like you have the same problem, I would check your spark plugs. If you're experiencing a rough idle, it wouldn't be your suspension.

a3square, What part of your suspension was rubbing? did it leave marks on something that made it apparent it was infact the tire rubbing on something? and was it rubbing all the time or just when you turn?
