Ok so this may already be somewhere but i cannot findit. My 2002 Audi A4 1.8t needs a new thermostat. My local parts stores only sell the thermostat with the housing. Do i have to buy the whole thing or can i just find the thermostat elsewhere? Or would it be worth the extra money to replace the whole thing?

 

Don't do just the thermostat in these motors. Whole housing gets replaced as a unit.
