Default Ticking help

I have an 02 A4 quattro 3.0 6 speed manual. A couple of weeks ago it started ticking. I never go over 2000 miles before I change my oil. I have changed my oil 4x in the last couple weeks. 1st time normal, no change. Added Seafoam to oil and gas, drove for 100miles, no change. 2nd time added Lucas, no change. 3rd time added ProLong, no change. Last time, substituted 2qts with 2qts of Power Punch, no change. I used a stethoscope and I can hear the tick best when I had it against the lower edge of the passenger side valve cover left corner closest to the fire wall, or when I held it against the oil dip stick. It doesn't sound metallic, it sounds kinda slappy I think. It speeds up with acceleration and it seems like it's in sync with the purge flow sensor ticking, but it is definitely not coming from it. I'm afraid to drive it now. Does anyone think it could be TB tensioner pulley deferring sound to somewhere else? Lifter? Exhaust leak? Rocker arm? Valve(I really hope not)? I guess let me know if you have any ideas, before I rip the valve cover off this weekend. I'm on my own with it so any kind of input would be way cool. Also my engine is the V6 3.0, so it doesn't have cam chains, incase anyone was thinking that's what it could be.
