I have an automatic 2005 3.0 v6 Audi A4 Quattro, it has been sitting around for some years due to the timing being off, finally decided to give it a go and I have the bumper and radiator off the car so I have access to the front of the motor. As being said I have the timing belt off and the crankshaft aligned to the mark on the timing belt cover. The crankshaft is aligned with the mark but cylinder number one is all the way down, how would I go about getting cylinder number one all the way up to get it to TDC?

 

You gotta use cylinder #3 TDC to set timing on the 3.0
