In response to the post, my 03 A4 1.8T Quattro 5-spd was $4975 for the clutch and transmission case. I know an all new transmission at the stealership was something like an $8,000 part.
I know the 6 speeds are going to be a fair bit more expensive, the rest depends if it is quattro and haw bad its blown.
