Tried to search but no luck- I have an 02 3.0 Avant with a tiptronic trans. It seems to me like the transmission has an issue on the 2nd-3rd gear shift, like it can't really decide it wants to be in 3rd, kind of hesitates, then goes to 4th. It is not all that noticeable but it is there. It shifts fine in tip mode, locks right in to 3rd no problem. I haven't tried it in sport mode recently, but I think it is ok in sport if memory serves. I thought I had read on here a long time ago about a re-flash for the tranny for this but can't find anything now. Would a Vag-com help fix this? I don't have one but have been thinking more and more about getting one......Any thoughts on the shifting issue? No other issues with trans besides that.....

I was starting to think I was the only one! I am pretty sure there is a fix for this, like a reflash of the TCM, but I wanted to hear from someone here that knew for sure before I took it to the dealer.....
