Trolling for opinions and experiences. I looked at a 2003 A4 w/6 speed, 3.0l, and 55k miles this weekend. Drove it - rides nice and tight, shifts well. I still intend to have my indie mechanic look it over if I decide to make an offer. Owner is asking $15k and I think it's worth $13-14k.

I've searched the forum already and see thempg is less, interior a bit better, but the engine is tough to work on (I can see why, when I looked under the bonnet).

Anyone with good or bad experience with an A4 in this configuration, please share.

PS - Not looking to mod it at all. I just want a reliable AWD.
