Question Turn signal ghost!!!

I left my 2005 A4 3.0 Tip with a dealer who "tried" to sell it for me for several months.
Last Saturday I went to pick it up and found that the battery was flat dead! $152.00 later the car started but I also found that my passenger HID low beam was dead. The coolant reservoir was empty, and the tires seriously deflated. I bought a replacement DS1 for $60.00 on eBay and everything is fine... or is it?
When I use the left turn signal, all is fine.
When I try to use the right turn signal I get the first flashing on the right but then it switches to the left. Yes, using the right turn signal will make the left flashers go! WTH???
I was wondering if there was a pending technical bulletin for this. I mean we are talking about a potential accident waiting to happen here!
Has anyone seen anything like this? The car just turned 27k miles and is otherwise in perfect condition.

Believe it or not I have had the same problem. Fortunately I was under warranty. I am not sure of the exact fix to the problem but they did need to remove the entire dash in order to replace a part (or at least thats what i was told). Hopefully you can find an easy fix.

Its just a fault turn signal stock, and no you don't have to remove the entire dash board, the techs write a elaborate story for the warranty clerks so they get paid more. If they say they took this apart (but actually didn't) they get paid more. Get it?

The turn signal issue seems to have resolved itself after I drove the car for a couple of days...
Oh well, I guess that's a good thing.

Try tapping on the fender that doesn't work if it happens again. Its common for the bulb socket to go bad on B6 A4's.
