Hi, I've got my car in bits trying to replace the fan/drive belt tensioner and belt! But the new belt is slightly longer. I order part number 5PK1432 as that is the size on the car but the belt I've been supplied is 5PK1435 so slightly longer!!! Not by a lot but you can notice the difference when you compare. I should of checked the damn thing when I picked it up.

Any idea if the slightly longer belt will be ok?
UK based 2002 1.9tdi 130bhp AWX engine. Please help? It's dark and getting cold and could do with her back on the road tomorrow 😬

 

Panic over. I chucked it on. It worked 🤙
