using garage door switches on visor

hello, i would like to be able to use the 3 buttons on the visor, that are normally programmed for the garage door openers, to be able to provide a hot lead to an aftermarket 12 volt accessory, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Easier to find an open fuse and run a small pair of wires to that area. Those buttons are handy.
