Vacuum Check Valve

Default Vacuum Check Valve

my vacuum check valve was all melted so i just replaced it with a straight piece for now....i checked and the part is 30 bucks....should i replace this? is it necessary, what the hell does it do? seems like it just limits airflow

should be fine... some guys replace all the vacuum lines with no check valves

cool thanks I just replaced it with a rubber tube, it works fine

You can get ones from US Plastic for like a dollar. I have one in my car now.

I believe I got the 1/4" Kynar ones. They hold up to heat better.

i found out what use they have...theyre one way valves so only aloowing air to go in one direction and not return...and they are somehow needed for your turbo to work otherwise i think you loose serious boost
