Vacuum Problem?
Hi Guys,
How's all?... I've noticed something small about my car thats annoying me. Its a 2003 A4 B6 1.9 Tdi SE Remapped.. When im driving (not coasting, in gear), if i slightly touch the brake pedal at the same time as the throttle, the engine loses alot of rpm and the car lunges, when i let off the brake pedal it regains the rpm and alls ok..
So the other day i decided to put it into neutral at about 30 Mph, brought the revs up to about 2k rpm, touched the brake pedal and again it began to lose rpm.. It doesnt seem to do if the car is parked though so im a bit confused as to what this could be.. Upon a bit of research, could it be the MAF sensoror a vacuum problem? Someone also mentioned it might be a short in the brake light system? is this possible? im just wondering is this something thats gonna get worse or should i ignore it!?
Any info appreciated..
Paul..
