What up guys. its been a bit since i've been on here. Ha so long i've completely forgot my username and password and had to create a new account. Anyways i was gonna do my some repairs this week, one of which included the vc gasket. Audizine has a pretty good DIY. My question was on the use of a sealant. Some people say to use it and others do not. I've searched a bit and never really came up with a definite answer. It doesn't seem like to big of a deal, but i thought that i would get your guys input.

Use the sealant only on the parts where the DIY says. Those are the spots where the sealants fills the imperfections of the valve cover gasket.
